Bible Kids
 

Bible Kids is the Bible program that happens at Church on a Saturday evening for children at Preschool to Year 6. BKs is a fun-filled, vibrant time of learning about Jesus and living for His Kingdom. The program happens during church time – when the adults listen to a Bible Talk. All BKs start in church where we often celebrate birthdays and have a special focus on children. 

Our BKs program is led and taught by a great team of committed Christian people who love children and teaching them the Bible. Leslie Fiocco heads up the team. BKs are sometimes joined by Bing and Bella – two bright and friendly puppets who help communicate God’s love in Jesus.

Sometimes in crèche the older children are taught Bible truths as part of our “Bible Tots” program. This is a great stepping stone towards them joining BKs when they are older

BASIC
 

BASIC stands for Brothers And Sisters In Christ, and it's the name of WVBC's youth group. BASIC is made up of teenage boys and girls ranging from school years 7 to 12, and we meet on Friday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 pm at Hughes Primary School.  Our aim is to learn about the saving grace of Jesus, to enjoy each others friendship, and to help one another.
 

This happens through games, teaching the Bible, eating, performing dramas, and generally having fun. (Those attending are asked to give a gold coin donation for the food and drinks.)

Anyone in years 7 to 12 are welcome to attend on Friday nights.
